About Claudia - Flight Instructor

ATP, CFI, CFII, MEI

Claudia started flying in 2004 out of Monterey, CA. But she knew that she wanted to pursue this as a career so she went out to Delta Connection Academy in Sanford, FL where she earned her instrument, commercial, multi, and initial CFl and MEl ratings. Instead of pursuing an airline career at that time. Claudia decided to start a family first. She moved back to California where she took a break from flying.

After a short break and having her two sons Claudia earned her CFIl and started instructing out of KWVI and KSNS for many years. She loves teaching and she loves flying the C-172 out of the Monterey Bay area where there was no such thing as an ugly view. But then in 2018, she got an opportunity to fly for Skywest and fly the ERJ 175. How can one say no to that?

Unfortunately, COVID had other ideas and once again brought Claudia back to California. This time however she went into app development although aviation has always been in her blood. She still instructs when she can but now she uses her programming skills and aviation skills to help others save some money however she can.
